Salsa Shines

A “Shine” is a non-standard Salsa step. Some can be performed when still connected with your partner. Others, as solo steps when free of partner hold.                                          A section of your dance, out of hold, with shines, can be used as a way to define a seperate section of your dance, often to accompany a break section in the music.                            A series of “Shine” instruction videos can be found below.
